Our History
Where we come from
Founded in 2023, Lunica Tutoring emerged from a vision to create equity in education and broaden access to quality educational resources. The founders, two trans women in acadeia, recognized the barriers many students face due to socioeconomic disparities. They were determined to provide personalized tutoring that meets each learner's unique needs, regardless of their background.
Lunica began as a grassroots initiative, offering free workshops and resources to underserved students. The positive response fueled their commitment, leading to the establishment of a formal tutoring platform that combines one-on-one support with innovative online tools. L
